VoxaTV is an Xtream Codes player for Apple TV, iPhone, iPad and Mac. Connect an existing provider account using its server URL, username and password, then browse the live channels, movies and structured TV shows that account supplies.

VoxaTV provides the player, not an IPTV service, channels, login credentials or content rights. You need your own permitted source. [Download VoxaTV on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/au/app/voxatv/id6811088081) to get started.

## What details do I need?

Use the server address and account credentials supplied by your provider. Include the address scheme and any required port exactly as supplied. An Xtream Codes connection uses separate server, username and password fields; it is different from importing a complete M3U playlist URL.

If your provider only supplies a playlist link or file, use the [M3U player guide](https://voxatv.app/m3u-player/). You do not need to convert that playlist into Xtream Codes credentials. Neither connection method guarantees that every stream or item of metadata is available.

## How to connect an Xtream Codes account

- Open **Settings → Playlists → Add playlist** in VoxaTV and enter a name for the source.

- Choose **Xtream Codes** as the source type.

- Fill in **Server URL**, **Username** and **Password** using your provider’s details.

- Leave **Guide URL** blank to use available Xtream Codes guide data, or enter a separate XMLTV URL supplied by your provider.

- Choose **Save playlist**. Mac and Apple TV also offer **Test connection** before saving. Select it as the active playlist and open Live TV, Movies or TV Shows.

Available categories, artwork, programme schedules, seasons and episodes come from the provider. VoxaTV does not create missing catalogues or unlock content outside your account.

## Which live stream format should I use?

Xtream Codes playlists offer Auto, HLS and MPEG-TS live formats. If a channel does not play, confirm which formats your provider supports. You can change an individual channel’s format from the local player’s More menu; changing it restarts playback. Compatibility depends on the source, device and playback engine.

## Why is my Xtream Codes connection not working?

- **Login or import fails:** check the server URL, port, username and password for mistakes. Ask your provider whether the account is active and the server address has changed.

- **Some content is missing:** make sure you selected the intended active playlist and refresh the catalogue. Your account may not supply every media type.

- **The catalogue loads but playback fails:** confirm that the stream is available and that the provider’s simultaneous-connection allowance is not already in use.

- **The programme guide is empty:** confirm the provider supplies guide data for that channel and refresh the guide. A working login does not guarantee schedules.

Supported providers can report account expiry and connection usage in playlist settings. Reported usage reflects the last refresh and may change. Never include passwords or private stream URLs in support messages.

## Do I need VoxaTV Premium?

Free includes the default profile, one saved playlist, browsing, search, the guide and playback from the start. Premium adds multiple playlists, personal profiles, saved-position resume, Favorites and other app features. Premium does not renew your provider account, increase its connection limit or include an IPTV subscription.
