# VoxaTV

> VoxaTV is an IPTV player, M3U player and Xtream Codes player for Apple TV, iPhone, iPad and Mac. It plays the user's own playlists and provider sources, including live TV, movies and video on demand.

VoxaTV does not provide channels, movies, TV shows, IPTV subscriptions or content rights. Users supply their own permitted sources. Stream quality, guide data, artwork, seasons and episodes depend on the source. M3U/M3U8 playlists and HLS video streams are distinct: a supported playlist may contain HLS (.m3u8) stream URLs. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store, not as a browser-based player.

Setup starts in Settings → Playlists → Add playlist. M3U URL and Xtream Codes connections are available on all supported platforms; local M3U/M3U8 file import is available on Mac, iPhone and iPad, not through a file picker on Apple TV. Xtream Codes uses a server URL, username and password supplied by the user's provider. Mac and Apple TV offer Test connection before Save playlist; iPhone and iPad use Save playlist. The setup guides below explain XMLTV, account and stream troubleshooting.

Free supports the default personal profile, one saved playlist, browsing, search, programme guides and playback from the start. Premium adds up to six total profiles, profile PINs and supported device biometrics, multiple playlists, playlist configuration copying between profiles, Favorites and category organization including hiding, saved-position resume, Google Cast and AirPlay on Mac/iPhone/iPad, device handover, Trakt and watermark-free local playback. Existing profile locks remain enforced if Premium ends. Premium unlocks app features; it does not provide content. Current Premium prices are shown in the app and may vary by storefront.

Profiles keep their libraries separate. With iCloud Sync enabled, supported profile metadata, PIN locks, library data and hidden categories can sync. Content-filter choices, completed-history display limits and queued Not started items remain local to each profile on each device. Biometric enrollment, Auto-login and the last-used startup profile stay on the device. Content filtering and category hiding are managed in Settings → Content; protected profiles require fresh authentication for changes.

Playlist settings include automatic catalogue/guide refresh and provider-reported or manual expiry dates. Audio sync applies to local KSPlayer playback once audio is ready. Interrupted on-demand playback has bounded automatic recovery that retains the playback position, followed by manual Retry; stream reopening and seeking still depend on the source. Clearing completed history preserves a show's next-episode ordering separately from visible watch history. The feature guide describes removal scopes and device/engine limitations. Do not infer Android or Windows support, offline downloads, catch-up TV, ratings or subscription prices.
